 The Yemen civil war and humanitarian crisis is one which led into another. It started as a civil war between the government officials in Yemen who are Sunni Muslims and are being helped by Saudi Arabia and the Houthi rebels who are Shia Muslims and are being helped by Iran. This huge conflict between infighting in Yemen eventually led to a humanitarian crisis where people are killed each day and children are malnourished. The fast spread of Covid-19 is also largely affecting the children and people in Yemen. The main reason for this crisis is that the Houthi rebels want more power and they feel they are overlooked. We can help the people and especially the children in Yemen by directly giving supplies and things like food to them. However, we could also indirectly help them by donating and contacting other organizations which largely help Yemen and the civil war and humanitarian crisis there.
