 The South Sudan emergency is an emergency that contains many women and children fleeing from their country and are seeking asylum. They are seeking safety from the civil war that started in 2013.  These refugees are survivors of sexual assault and attacks. These people who are already poor, also undergo heavy rainfall and flooding that destroy their shelter and add on to the destruction already occurring in their life with having limited resources. In result, these people are being forced away from their homes. These people obtain the result of malnutrition for the cause of mostly being poor. As for being poor, the sanitation in South Sudan is extremely terrible which results in many diseases. The people and refugees of South Sudan are in need of immediate help. We can aid by donating to foundations that focus on helping this depressing emergency happening in South Sudan.
