The Afghanistan emergency is where millions of people in Afghanistan are internally displaced and affected by natural disasters. This humanitarian crisis occurs because natural disasters such as floods, avalanches, and earthquakes disrupt populations and cause them to flee their homes. Children are hugely affected by this emergency. Vulnerability to disease, hunger, and violence, outcomes of this emergency, causes a toll on children's’ mental health. Like UNICEF says, no child should have to go through this emergency. The most we can do is donate to organizations such as UNICEF in order to provide and support the needs of the Afghans.
